The reason why...

THIS picture is the reason why i don't take request anymore. I could still "kill" this person. But from the beginning. Someone ask me in november last year if i could draw him something as a request. He told me that he will be visiting his girlfriend on christmas. She lives in the US and he in the UK (or the other way around idk anymore) whatever...He asked me if i could draw his girlfriend. Naive as i am i said yes and i tried my best to draw her. I send him the final artwork and then...no reply ever. No thanks. Nothing. ¬___¬ It were ok if he said thanks some weeks ago but nothing. So this picture was waste of time...

it doesn't look like my "normal" works, because it should look similar to her.

Heat

I just browsered in my folders and i found THIS. The original drawing was very old (may last year) so i decided to redraw it in june but i never uploaded it Ö_Ö. So here it is.

Lately I have a lot of ideas in my brain which i want to draw. I drew the most in the last 3 weeks but i still have ideas. One of them is the "Three wise monkeys" topic. Maybe you know the saying "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" (german: "nichts sehen, nichts hören, nichts sagen"). I made a few sketches but i'm not sure if i should draw it like the sketch below (3 separate pictures in a row) or "one" picture. I still sketching and i'd glad if have a final sketch in the future. xD

And one sketch which i found on my harddrive. I don't know if i already posted it or not. ^^;

Summer and Winter

The summer is already gone so i drew a summer feeling picture. It's a speedpaint because i drew it in less than one hour^^. but i really like it :) it was a good distraction

And this is the opposite. It was a point of my to-do-list xD. Snow, ice and blue.

meaning:  she has a frozen heart... she don't want to feel anything and put her heart into an block of ice. So it's protected from pain and bad feelings because she's sick of it and don't wanna feel pain anymore. But now that her heart is frozen she don't feel anything (-> whole body is blue and cold)

Ideas & Back to the roots?

At the moment i don't really draw very much. I have a lot of ideas but somehow i don't know how to paint them. Here a list of ideas i want to draw:

• pinup (i love the old pinup pictures and i always wanted to draw it too)
• something with ice
• something with rain (i love summer rain. and i love to walk through it. <3 )
• different colors schemes
• Colorful XI (with walkthrough)
• and many more...

Let's see when i'll draw them. Now i have holidays until...i don't know. and maybe i have some inspirations.

Hmm...i noticed that i don't have one coloration style lately. So i thought a lot about it and today i experimented with my old coloration style from 2008/2009. I really love this style and maybe it'll have a comeback.

texture overload but i like the result. btw "Colorful XI" is on hold. I'll draw it when i have holidays in august. As i said, the main color will be yellow. Fits perfect to summer :)

Just for fun

While i looked trough my pictures on my laptop i found this picture. It was a small doodle which i drew in painter last year. I like it anyway and so i post it here.

Tomorrow i'll post a new watercolor sketch from my sketchbook. (it will be "banana").

Edit: while i was writing it i saw the worldcup (brazil vs. netherlands) and the netherlans won. :D

Let's start

ok. finally i changed the layout. It's not perfect but i like it. Maybe i'll change some details but not today. In the next days/weeks/months (? XD) i'll post the sketches from the last..eh...5 months ^^;. But i have to search them all but this needs time. So i begin with a junk i drew today. Ok the rough sketch of the head exists since last year and i colored it a bit too. But today i was bored and i drew her body. At the moment i experiment with a new coloration style. It's not perfect but i'll work on it.

I don't know why but atm these are my current favorit colors xD. But they fit perfectly with the mood i wanted to create because it should express "summer feeling". Because after weeks of cloudy, rainy and cold weather we've got finally a sunny and warm weekend :D. So i'll spend a lot of time in the garden and read some books xD

New Watercolors
